IAPP Romania KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair

Adrian Munteanu is a University Professor, PhD at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration – Univ. Alexandru Ioan Cuza from Iasi, where he teaches courses on information security, audit of international systems, governance and IT services management.

He was Membership Director in ISACA Romania (2011-2012) and co-chair of IAPP Romania (2017-2018). He is a European Union Agency for Network and Information Security (ENISA) expert in the field of risk management.

He is also a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), COBIT Foundation Certificate (2009), ITIL Foundation Certificate (2007).

He has over 10 years of experience in IT auditing and consulting.
