Interview with the successful person inside you
In the following phrases I have presented a few tactics used by successful persons. The interview below is an interview with the successful person inside you.
Who are you?
I’m a joyful human being, a trusted friend to my closest acquaintances and a professional in what I do.
I tend to believe that you’ve reached perfection. How can you do this?
Indeed, I’ve reached perfection in the way that I’ve achieved what I define perfection and not what others establish for me. I associate perfection with an independence and optimism state of mind that can hardly be affected by external aspects which I cannot control.
I can accomplish what I plan because I’m also an ignorant. I’m ignorant when people want to change my plans in order to fit theirs and when others discuss with me in terms of “listen to me, (only) I’m right”. In these situations, being ignorant means that I maintain my priorities. For healthy relationships with others I need a healthy relationship with myself.
What makes you believe this approach is suitable?
The practice… or the experience! I’ve also tested the case in which I’ve established personal objectives and afterwards, conducted by the will to be liked by others, I’ve changed them or even gave up on some of them. I don’t mean that objectives shouldn’t change. It is desirable for them to be always adapted at the daily reality, at the appearing opportunities, not because of others, but by independently made decisions.
What are the results of this attitude?
The results are touchable: since I’ve became more aware of this approach, I’ve reached the objectives set for the current year sooner than I expected. From now on, I already established myself other goals for the next period and the coming year. It is such a great feeling!
Until now, you’ve probably passed through situation in which you were disoriented. What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
When I don’t know what to do, I apply certain strategies that did work out before: I usually change something in my activity in order to get a new perspective, I speak with a mentor or I begin a new project. There were also seldom situations in which I expected for things to solve themselves and in this way I have managed to moved forward.
What advice would you give to the readers of this article?
In general, I don’t like to give advices, neither to receive, but I strongly believe that everyone of us should give himself as much experiences as he can in order to give himself the advices he needs. Because the world is changing so fast, the advice I offer today might not be available tomorrow. This being said, I wish you to live as much valuable experiences as possible!
